Purses made using fabric offcuts. Every one is different and unique, lined with colourful cotton fabric and finished off with a vintage metal clasp frame.
 
This batch were made in cotton fabrics not my usual velvet or silk and feel a bit stiffer and rougher than the usual fabrics I use. All are lovely, they just don't match my current collection.
 
Large Foxgloves purse - made from deckchair fabric
Cherry blossom purse - made from cotton panama fabric
Large Summer garden purse - made from cotton poplin and a stiffer interfacing than I usually use.
 
 
They make a lovely snapping sound when opened and closed and make me think of my Granny, when she used to give me a penny for some sweeties.
