MAKE YOUR OWN LAMPSHADE FAIRY LIGHTS GARLAND
252 HALL, BETSON STREET, MARKINCH, FIFE, KY7 6AA
SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 11AM - 1PM
Learn how to make your own set of mini lampshade decorated fairy lights.
Katie will guide you through making and decorating some mini lampshades to adorn a set of sparkly fairy lights. You’ll decorate the shades using off cuts from Katie’s fabric stash or you can even bring some of your fabric if you’d prefer. It's a great way to use up and save from landfill, smaller pieces of fabric and paper.
The workshop will be friendly and relaxed and uses very simple techniques so no experience is required. Lots of opportunity to be creative with your fabric and trimming selections and you’ll go home with something super unique!
All materials, tools and lights will be supplied. If you do want to bring some of your own off cuts they need to be at least 15 x 25cm in size.
The workshop is running as part of Cenral Fife Artists Collective's Open Studios event so why not make a day of it and visit some of the artists exhibiting in the 252 Hall and the local area.
