Make your own set of mini lampshade fairy lights for Christmas.
 
Katie will guide you through making and decorating some mini lampshades to adorn a set of sparkly fairy lights. You’ll decorate the shades using a selection of festive fabrics in Christmas colours to make a unique christmas decoration. You can even bring some of your own fabric or off cuts if you’d prefer. A great way to use up and save from landfill, smaller pieces of fabric and paper.
 
The workshop will be friendly and relaxed and uses very simple techniques so no experience is required. Lots of opportunity to be creative with your fabric and trimming selections and you’ll go away with something super unique to decorate your home for Christmas
 
All materials, tools and lights will be supplied. If you do want to bring some of your own off cuts they need to be at least 15 x 25cm in size.
 
The workshop is suitable for ages 16+
 
Please note that the workshop will be held on the first floor of Abbot House.
